One more story, then I'm done.
Nov. 11th, 2008 12:02 amEvangeline drew a picture today, and she went to hang it on the fridge. But the magnets weren't cooperating, and as they fell to the floor she said quite clearly "Gan-a-na-DOOF!"
Funnily enough, a few days ago when *I* said the phrase for what to her seemed to be no reason whatsoever, she copied it nearly perfectly: "Why you say "nom de gyuer"?
But apparently when you're upset you just can't sit and think how to say nom de Dieu! properly. Well, neither do I, anyway :P
(And for the record, both my mom and Jenn recognized what she meant to say without the benefit of a translation.)

It's redundant, and I don't think it will stick after his brain realizes that, but for the time being I am using it too because it is SO CUTE.
