She got her new lunchbox, a great new tiffin - the bottom tier is for her fork and napkin and placemat and stuff - and her new bookbag, and she turned to her mother and said "Maybe we should put all the school stuff in one spot!"

A few days later, she came into my room (with my permission and supervision) to get a bottle of water, saw my old pair of glasses (a spare pair for when these break, but those are even worse, so I really need to get a real spare pair) and said "Connie. You should find one spot you like and always put your glasses there. Then you won't have to keep these glasses anymore."

Maybe I can pay her to clean our kitchen for me.

Edit: This tiffin, by the way, is better than the one that broke on the sidewalk. I checked before I bought it and the part that holds it all together is clearly stronger and less bendy.

My mother, before she saw the tiffin, scoffed because "She can't ever have anything normal", but I think it's clear that this is far superior than the more standard types of lunch boxes.
