conulyAna's willingness to show off her literacy continues apace, and she can sound out and read some serious shit right now.
Evangeline, for her part, recognizes that letters make sounds and that words are built from sounds, and if presented with a letter she can sign the letter. She can't consistently make the letter name aloud, but she can sign it. This, after we've long since stopped signing everything else!
