First, when possums play dead, they emit a greenish fluid from their anus. (Or so says google.) This often leads well-meaning humans to "put them out of their misery". Bet it works great against predators, though.

Second, coconut yogurt? REALLY rich, REALLY yummy. The brand I got, though, has a lot of stabilizers and additives and whatnot. There's one I can definitely taste. Not sure what it is, precisely, but it makes it taste artificial. I'm wondering if I could make my own without the help.

Third, tea tree oil? WORKS WONDERS. Had a bit of an infected cut on my finger. Put a little tea tree oil on it (dipped a q-tip in the oil and dabbed), and within half an hour the redness and swelling was gone, it didn't look infected anymore. And it didn't hurt. Put a little on again this evening, and the cut is visibly getting better. That's why the stuff is $10 for a teeny little bottle!

Both my sister and my mom have weird rashes they want to try it on, so I'll buy another bottle tomorrow for them to share, if I can get it at the Genovese (now a Rite Aid, and in between an Eckerd's).

Isn't tea tree oil LOVELY?

It can also really help reduce irritation from insect bites and stings--the last time I got a bee sting, the tea tree oil helped reduce the pain super fast. Wonderful stuff!

I use tea tree oil in the padawan's diaper laundry. Six drops completely eliminates any stink. It's amazing, really.

Works on cat pee too. Like, when the cat get stuck in the bathroom and uses the laundry basket as a litter box. Ahem.

Yes. I haven't tried it on the carpet where the cat pisses, but on the clothes - yes.
