The 60s, that was a really cool decade, right? And the 20s, those were awesome. And before that was the Gay 90s.

So, we're moving in about 40 or 50 year leaps... which means, since this decade kinda sucked, the next one ought to be really great.

Think about it, you know I'm right. (Especially if we all just pull together and make it happen.)

Were the 60's really that cool, though? I used to think so, and now... I don't know.

Hmmmm... I kind of think that whether or not a decade was good or bad is relative on the part of the one who lived it. IMHO, this one... left quite a bit to be desired as far as our nation goes, but for me on a personal level, it wasn't all bad. More or less the same thing goes for the preceding three decades in which I have lived.

One thing that strikes me, however, is that "oldies" music that was popular two or three decades ago tends to make a comeback, even if short-lived. For instance, I remember that back in the 1980s, music from the 1960s was quite popular. Then in the 1990s, music from the 1970s made a bit of a comeback. And now, music from the 1980s is considered to be "nostalgic." =/ Nooooo... I'm not old enough to have lived in a decade whose music is now thought of as "oldies".... :O
