With avocados, and lime juice, and lemon juice (we didn't have enough limes), and tomatoes, and OLIVE OIL, and garlic, and onion, and one single tiny hot pepper from our garden. Oh, and pepper and salt, of course.

WHEN AM I GOING TO LEARN? WHEN????

After cutting a hot pepper, I have *got* to learn to wash my hands!

Ow, ow, ow, ow, OW!

The guac was good, though. My sister called it "the best ever"... but then, she's one of the 3 who voted to use olive oil, so she's hardly unbiased :)

Aww, poor Connie. How long did it take to subside?

Are you going to try adding olives to your guac?

Any type. I'm really only familiar with the most common two types, and the one I was wondering about was pimento-stuffed green olives.

Oh, yikes! I actually use a piece of waxed paper when I'm holding a hot pepper to chop up (I can never remember to get or justify having rubber gloves for such a job). Then I wash my hands and wash them again and one more time for good measure.

Poor you! But best-ever guac has to be some consolation.

No, didn't taste it as such, but I'm pretty sure I saw it sitting on your stove/counter earlier in the day. :-D
