Okay. Now I'm taking off some of the comms and feeds.

Because between midnight last night and 3pm today (naptime), I accumulated 178 entries on my friends page.

That's absurd. And it has to stop. I love you all, I do, but I can't really say that when I can't read your entries because they're buried in the crowd.

(I'm sure I'll also be re-adding a lot of youse guys in due course, once I get this all under control.)

Edit: Actually, I'm not sure at all of that, but I'll probably re-add some of you once I start missing you enough.

Something that helped me a lot was moving my feeds to a feed reader (I use bloglines, but I hear google reader is good, too.) I read my friends list first at night so people get my priority over feeds. And then for some reason I feel less compelled to read every single thing in every feed when they're split up like that, whereas when I was using LJ as a feed reader I did feel like I had to read it all. I second feed readers. I've only really played with Google Reader, and I really love it!
