The leftovers program is called "Second Helpings." We save a LOT of good food from several local restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and large grocery stores (bakery and meat departments there especially). Every Thursday it's become part of my routine to help with the day's route. It takes all day for pick-ups and distribution, and it's only about a fifth of what areas and businesses are covered.
