Today, I just played his copy. Got pretty far on Mario RPG. Saved regularly. Took a break so Jenn could play Mario World. Came back.
And. My. Game. Was. Gone. Forever. Not coming back. *cries*
I don't think I want this CD so much anymore... it taunts me!

I lost the file of the first version I ever played. Broke my heart, that it did. I was so close to getting my team to their maximum level...
