Yesterday, *before* the disaster at the playground, we had a lot of fun.

We saw a woman with a mei-tai while eating lunch, and as I have no shame I cupped my mouth and yelled "NICE MEI-TAI!" to her, causing rampant confusion all around. (I waved so she'd know who the crazy person was, at least.) And we hopped across the lilypads in the children's zoo (Evangeline hopped once, but every other time we had to go across, she insisted on me picking her up) several times, at Ana's behest. And we saw a play about daytime and nighttime and an owl who wants to eat a frog and a frog who doesn't want to get eaten, so all the kids made it daytime and nobody ate or got eaten, and that was nice, and Evangeline signed frog for the very first time, which I thought was beyond cool, she doesn't sign that much anymore, she talks more. Little chatterbox :)

And Angelique picked a scab. So it bled, and I told her not to wipe it on her dress.

Angelique: But blood doesn't stain!
Me: Yes it does.
Angelique: (glancing down at unstained dress) But it doesn't stain this dress! This dress is magic!

And I showed a couple of people my ring sling... that is, when I wasn't using it to leash Evangeline.

So let's not think that the only time I had fun was when I was arguing :)

I saw a lady with a baby in a sling yesterday. It was a long piece of cloth. So cute. I wish I'd known about slings when I had babies. Quinn's carrier was good but a sling would have been so much better.

Properly speaking, a long piece of cloth with no rings or buckles or straps is a wrap - and they are the coolest things EVAH! YEAH!

So now you know. You can tell other people if they ask that you "wish you had known". No point being upset over the past, anyway.

Y'know, I went to type wrap and decided I was wrong. Go me!

I'm just a bit envious, not upset. I don't get upset about stuff like that. If I ever get the right sort of opportunity(ie. someone that wants the info), I will, you can be assured of that.
