Not reading HP7 today.

Maybe I'll get around to reading it next week. Don't want to buy it, must read in store or download... which is somehow an ethically trickier ground than bookstore reading.

Funny, hadn't considered that option. Does that really work? I mean, you'd need several hours, I imagine, during which time I'm sure you'd get noticed and chased out.

I had been considering borrowing from a friend or, as sparkofcreation pointed out, library. (Though their waiting list is likely to be long.)

I had been considering that. Part of what's stopping me is the rumours that what's floating around may or may not be the actual book. Do you know?

True dat. Some people I know who read a download said their book was ordered, so it's not as if the publisher was out of money -- they just wanted to read it a bit earlier. I wouldn't have that excuse since I wouldn't have been planning on spending the money in the first place.
