So, I posted about Ana's excursion down the seven-foot-tall firepole, right?

Yeah.

Now she's moved into something new - spinning as she goes down firepoles. She's perfecting the art at the small one at the SICM, but soon I'm sure she'll be spinning round and round down that seven footer. It's really pretty impressive - especially since, with the little one, she doesn't lean out and grab it. She just jumps.

Evangeline is working on holding the firepole herself, but she still needs my help to get there.

Well she's got the upper body strength to just hold herself there for a looooonnng time LOL! The other day (after holding two poles and flipping herself over her arms numerous times) she decided to try reaching up to a ledge she could barely reach and to just haul herself up. She did end up needing a bit of an assist from me, but as soon as she got halfway she asked me to back off so she could finish doing it herself. I don't know what precisely she is training for...but she sure is going to be prepared! (And if she ever goes in for a life of cat burglary, all I have to say is...watch out, world.)
