There apparently were fireworks tonight, but we didn't go to them. Much too overcast and drizzly. I swear, at 5:00, I wanted lights on.

So it's been cool and drizzly all day, and for the past 10 minutes we've had lightning - and it's now pouring rain. And the people down the block who were sitting outside as the lightning flashed are screaming and freaking out that omigod - there's wet stuff falling from the sky!!!!!!1111

I find this highly amusing, as you can tell.

We stayed in all day and watched The Twilight Zone marathon on Sci-Fi.

That's what my family used to do, but this year we watched Monk instead :)

I loved Twilight Zone except for a few episodes. The one with the earth moving closer to the sun, I still can't watch, and I loathe "To Serve Man" for any number of reasons

And they were both shown, along with the one with the neighborhood getting all paranoid about monsters when the lights went out. Never liked that one. Then again, they showed the one with Burgess Meredith surviving the Bomb with all the time in the world to read. And Willoughby...my favorite.
