It helps a bit, the having a garden, and so does taking kids shopping with you, having them cook with you, and going to the farmers market. I really got the kids hooked on ground cherries last year when we grew them. And rhubarb. They nibble on it all spring!

Actually, I credit my kids being good veggie eaters on us having had a veggie patch since Brad was a baby.
