Ana and the baby had great fun. They played (and fell!) in a big puddle of mud, they painted paper (and people!) with paint, they ran around screaming with Elliot, naked (because of the mud)... it was great. Until the baby hit her head hard.
Then the baby and I each had a bit of cookie, me because the day was long, and the baby because I'm a sucker for a crying baby, and it was a *really* hard thump, and she asked nicely.
Ana asked for some cookie as well, and I said no - she didn't need more sugar in her (she'd had rice cripsy treat at Kidz Cook, which the baby didn't want), and it was really closer to dinner than it should be, and Elliot couldn't have one so it wouldn't be fair.
Ana's well into her little lawyer years, so she started off saying that she wouldn't share with Elliot, or that she'd hide, but I said no.
And do you know what? She didn't reiterate her arguments! She didn't whine! She didn't ask again! She just went 'Okay!' and moved on!
It was the best day ever.
The baby is a year and a half as of today. It's not fair, and it's not right. She's supposed to be younger!
