I lost the baby's shoes today. And Ana's, but she's got another (huge, white, branded) pair she can wear. Well, she likes them anyway, that's something.
Ana was wearing her rainboots, and I was wearing the baby, so I took both their shoes and put them in a plastic bag, and usually I tie such things to the diaper bag so I can't lose it, but this time I didn't, and... well, I think it must be on the bus still. I called the depot, told them about it. Called again, but I think they're closed now, so I'll check again in the morning.
I told Jenn that if they don't turn up, I'll buy the new pair for the baby. Her feet are hard to fit, she's got these high arches of doom like Jenn does, and she really only got her very first pair of shoes (other than this ratty pair from Ana that were really slippers anyway) a few weeks ago. The smell like cherry candy. GODDAMMIT!
