I wish as adults we could so easily and willingly adapt to the differences in others. Thanks for sharing that story.

Little kids are cool plus with people out and about (as opposed to locked up and hidden) as well as LRE (least restrictive environment) being such a big part of education now, it's not AS freaky -- even if a kid hasn't seen one thing, they're generally used to 'different'. Well at least here, I honestly never saw one kid in the schools K and F went to in Brooklyn that had a visible disability or any sort of accomodation. Here, there's more.
