There's this one potty-training child I know, very odd...

She goes to the bathroom, and she poos... but she doesn't pee.

Isn't that weird? I honestly did not know that this was possible. I told Jenn, and her mind boggled.

So, now, guess what time it is!

(I didn't name names, so it's possibly nobody I've ever posted about. Last thing I need is for this kid to grow up and find out I posted her embarrassing details all over the internet when she was a baby, right?)

Here's the thing: when I go to the bathroom, if I pee, the pee comes first. It ranges anywhere from Niagara Falls to a few drops, but genereally it's at least a little bit.

There's a name for that. Basically, I think it's that there's some crosswiring. When you sneeze, you squint - so for some people (and it runs in families, apparently), when you have to squint suddenly from sunlight, you sneeze.

I don't, Dan doesn't (because it's been discussed) and I have changed poo only diapers in my time.

I actually gave this some more thought, and realized in my case it's because I pee so damn much, I've probably already gone...for him? He's got this regular routine, and nothing changes it.

It's amazing the things we'll give thought to. I should get a sticker - "I make people think!"

And then I thought about it MORE and realized I *did* used to do both because I asked him once 'why dont you do both, whats wrong with you' (because we have conversations like that ALL THE TIME). And then wonder if something like WEIGHT has to do with it, or maybe diet? Because thats the thing that changed over time for me, my weight.

I think I should do a survey in my LJ too now.

This is why D and I are married for so long. We have these conversations ALL THE TIME, and I don't think I could have them with many other people. Forget romance and passion and all that -- who else can I have detailed conversations on how he folds toilet paper, or why I have to sleep with the comforter bunched between my legs or in depth discussions on -- well, the most mundane things.

See, now I can't think of any.

kira does not pee when she goes poo. she can sit on the toilet 20 minutes pooping, then finish, and 5 minutes later will say she needs to go potty, and she'll go in there an pee. it's so weird to me. sounds like a little kid thing though. i definitely do both at once.
