Do you ever get the feeling that you're just saying the same thing over and over and over again? Not even to the same person (that's a whole 'nother issue) but to different people who, all the same, Just Don't Get It?

And yes. When the Dairy Industry tells you that it's good to drink milk, you'll die if you don't, please take that with a hefty grain of salt. They sell milk. What do you expect them to say, "Milk is evil and nasty and we don't treat our cows nice?"

C'mon.

it's weird the commericals people decide to put a lot of stock into, and the ones they don't. most people don't REALLY run out and buy a product after seeing a commercial because they think it REALLY cleans better, but they'll totally believe that people need cow milk to live. or that drinking a big glass of milk a couple times a day will make them skinny. blah.

Ha ha ha ha ha. If drinking milk kept you skinny I would have been the smallest person in my high school class instead of one of the fattest. :p

Lame! I have no idea why either. The dates are fine... If you have any LJGURU insight lemme know.

I have been toying with the idea of veganism, it would be pretty easy to do here healthily.

It just occurred to me that you might find this interesting... The brand of dairy products that I buy has a section of their site (hover over "Our Company") about their policies regarding how the cows and farms are kept:

http://cloverstornetta.com/

Not that obtaining the milk doesn't still require some problematic practices, but it's better than what I've heard about elsewhere. Besides, it's fun to see the stereotype of Californians as crazy enviro-hippies perpetuated by a guy talking about cows rejuvenating their souls by walking in tall grass. ;)
