I'm fine for a bit, then BAM - "There is no wireless network in range". Modem and router appear to be working fine, but who the hell knows?

Connecting the computer directly to either the modem or router doesn't work - I get connected with a nifty little icon in the taskbar, but I still can't go online. No idea why this is happening, but it does explain where I've been, doesn't it? Any hints on fixing the problem would be greatly appreciated.

I'm also typing a lot faster than I have in a while. This is because I feel the pressures of time, I believe.

same thing happens to me occasionally. no idea why. I usually just restart, and things are OK. sometimes I need to disable and then enable the wireless connection. sometimes both. it's kind of annoying.
