Lizziey has a tattoo of her son's name and birthday on her left arm. She wants to add her brother and mother's name to that tattoo, but I think she should get that on the other arm because her brother and mother are dead.

Connie's argument: I think, because her mother and brother were murdered when she was 8 that this would be morbid. I don't think she shouldn't remember them, but it seems that to have their names near the name of her living son is a bit depressing, if nothing else.

Lizziey's argument: Ok, see what I am getting is an armband of baby blocks, and their names would be the letters on the little wooden blocks. For me, it is more like they are surrounding him, watching over him, protecting him, ya know? My mom's name on one side, and my brother's on the other. It is also like the little angel/devil thingies on one's shoulders, my mom giving him the "good" advice, and my brother having him do things to drive me nuts [face it he was evil :)]. Ok, I'm done...:)

I don't think it's morbid. I think it's a sweet idea.

I don't have an opinion on what she should actually do though, so I didn't vote on that part.

I don't see anything wrong with putting them with her son. I agree, it seems sweet and not morbid to me.. It shouldn't matter whether they're alive or dead, I think.

I don't think it's morbid by her line of reasoning, and as she's the one getting the tattoo, she should probably do it the way she likes. In the long run, she'll probably be happier with something that she felt was right than something you did. The way she describes it is sort of a nice idea. It's not something I would do personally, but if it's what she wants, she should get it.

I think it's a sweet idea, honestly. And, in the end, it's LIZZIEY'S SKIN. ;)

But damn Liz, if you're gonna get this all done, maybe you should get some emla creme (http://www.bmeshop.com/?cmd=it&wo=6) or something.. :P

Also, word of advice to Liz. He's not going to be a baby forever, so you might want to think about the baby block idea. But that's just my opinion. If you really really want to do this, talk to a tattoist and plan out a design. Yeah, it'll probably cost you $200, but waiting and getting a QUALITY tattoo is better than rushing and getting a crap one. The original is awesome, but it's a small tattoo, so you lucked out in a sense. Also, find a reputable piercer/tattooist.

Kay, that's my spiel.

OHOHOHOH! When I visit, you wanna come with me to get my septum done? I've been thinking about doing it for a while, I just can't decide where I wanna get it done.

Kay, that's REALLY the end...
