It's good that she's got you to take care of her and help her work on some of these things that I'm sure a lot of daycares/babysitters wouldn't find that important.

It's because I'm lazy. Life is easier when the child with you is mannerly instead of bratty, and it's easier when they can handle small things themselves. (Though you want them to be able to come to you for help on big things, of course.)
