I can't sing that song properly. I know the melody, but at the end my voice doesn't want to sing the notes as they're written, so it comes out wrong. Gah.

I don't have to tell you guys how this is *really* the middle of Spring, do I?

It's only "the middle of Spring" if you count Spring as beginning at Imbolc (Feb. 2) - which nobody *really* does, certainly not in Northern climes; at Imbolc there's still six more weeks of Winter to get through, with the heaviest snow and/or worst gales yet to come.

Well, I do - really and truly. I like to divide the year up neatly.
