Well, that's all left. I'm sure she'll adapt. And I really don't have anything against righties, so long as they keep it to themselves and don't flaunt their dextrous ways in front of all good, upleft lefties. I know some people think that handedness is everything, but, really, it's not *that* big a deal, is it? Just so long as she eventually learns to wlepht with her left hand like everybody else, or to fake it. I mean, fitting in, that's what counts, isn't it?

Honestly, I don't know how this happened. Better not let the righties know, though - some of the people on the dextrous agenda are pretty, well, evil. They just want to destroy all that is good and healthy about this world of ours! I cannot let my poor niece fall into their hands.

Today's episode of "guess the hidden message" is brought to you by the mirror universe. Thanks for playing, have a nice day.

How do tell pawed-ness? Which paw they use to cover their poop with?

It's the paw he's most likely to scratch me with. It's the paw he uses to bat toys around. It's the paw I'm most likely to find embedded (by the claws) in my leg. It's the paw he uses to wash his face.

I suspect it's also the paw he covers his poop with, but I try not to observe that process, as he can lay down some pretty big stinkers!

I was told that two left-handed parents have a 10% chance of producing a right-handed child. I'm left-handed. My husband is left-handed. Both our daughters are right-handed.

They've grown up in a world where most of the cool tools that their mom owns (sewing shears, can openers) make them feel cack-handed. I have to remember to buy them a few right-handed tools, but it feels down right annoying!

I'm still struggling to overcome my righty tendencies and become ambidextrous.

My lefty writing is at least legible now, although it still takes me a while to form the letters.

I still don't know my handedness. And I'm still bitter that when I was too young to know better, I asked a teacher which hand I should write with. And I was told, "The right". Not, "Whichever feels more comfortable". I think I'm pretty close to ambidextrous, but would have been happier writing with my left hand, but now I don't want to invest the years of practice that it took me to write with my right hand. I can write legibly with my left hand, but it's so slow. And I'm sure if I practiced every day for three years, as they had me do with my right hand, then I could write a lot better with it... but that was mind-numbing the first time around.
