I can communicate better. I can tell more when he's bored, distressed, don't feel a need to immediately stop him when he is doing something I don't understand. It's making HIM Happier, I think, because at least MOM gets him. Not 100% but we're making our needs to each other known better. And that's what I care about. When this whole journey started, I kept thinking, 'he's just about FERAL' but he wasn't, and isn't. I just didn't speak his language and he wasn't speaking mine.
