Problem...

My internet connection has been slow lately, say over the past half-week or so.

I've run two different virus scans, and two different adware/spyware scans. Nothing. By which I mean *nothing*, not even the normal spybot warning that such-and-fuch is a maliciously evil cookie that will steal my brains. (I've been blocking most cookies lately, though, just because I hated that spybot warning, so this isn't surprising.)

I've defragged my computer (and I always want to call it fraggled). Nothing.

I've taken into account that every site I visit might be slow.

I've switched browsers a few times.

Nothing else on my computer is running slowly. I've no idea what's going on, and I thought I'd ask my brilliant friends before trying Google.

Any ideas?

Edit: Yeah, it's almost certainly the cable company. After taking peebs' advice to call them, I decided first to google - and apparently it's been slow for everyone in the city for a few months now. It's probably been slow for me, but not *very* slow until recently.

I would say to call your ISP. The problem is probably on their end.
