Something I really like about you is that you don't seem to be inhibited about saying what you think. And despite your perceived limitations (I have to say perceived because it really doesn't seem that you are limited from reading your journal) you keep on trying. Oh, and you're open to new ideas - I love that too.

I make no presumptions about knowing you very well, but I do keep an eye on your journal fairly often. I have to mirror the above sentiments: you never hesitate about speaking your mind, whether or not people might agree with your point of view. And yet, you're not inflexible about considering other points of views. I find that to be a very admirable quality, and in that, more people should be like you. You also seem to be a very caring, warm person to those who you let into your life.

I don't know you that well, but the first thing that popped into my head was "no bullshit". You aren't afraid to be honest and to speak your mind. Sometimes that may end up coming off a little abrubt at first, but ultimately it's something to be admired.

Things I love:

- Your interest in so many things, and your willingness to research any such thing that grabs your attention. As part of this, your desire to keep on top of world news and stay informed.

- Your friendliness and open heart.

- Your child-like wonder and amazement (such as blowing bubbles!) The excitement that you have makes you a joy to be around.

Things I dislike:

- Your stubborness when you get in a mood. Like a dog with a bone, you just *won't* give it up.

- Your forgetfulness, especially noted towards household chores.

Both of the things I dislike you've been working on anyway :-)

I think there's something that I both like and dislike about you in the same fell swoop...you're very bluntly honest, and sometimes if you get annoyed by someone, you speak out a little too strongly.

I think the only reason why that gets to me at all is that I'm a bit TOO peaceful and try to keep things quiet...until of course it's too late and my frustration boils out of control. You're the opposite of how my personality operates in times of conflict and/or annoyance.

On the up-side, the reason I don't resent it or ever take anything personally is that you're not vindictive about it. You're not flamey or make threats....and you get over things if they just annoy you once. You also bring to light things that DO need to be said and point out to people things they need to be aware of and/or just give them their due chewing-out.

I like you. You're smart and you're not brash about things.

I'm extremely grateful to have you as a friend. I feel as if I could trust you and talk to you if I needed to -- a rare thing for me, it tends to take me a year or more to get truly comfortable and not fakey around people. I can't exactly pin down what it is about you that makes you trustable like that, but it's special.
