I was reading something, just mindless browsing, and I came across a mention of Topographical Agnosia:

"when people have trouble finding there way around places even if they know them because they are unable to recognise the features around them that tell them where they are and where to go. It is not the same as just forgetting the way to go or getting lost in a new place. There is difficulty finding your way around places that should be familiar."

What? That sounds familiar. But I could be reading much too much into that. So I go to google, of course. ALL I GET is a bunch of lists of different agnosias and some very dense technical pages. *grumbles* So I think I'm going to have to actually go to the library, if this will help. There really might not be much information on this. I *hate* that. But, until then, it's a lot better sounding than "I have no sense of direction whatsoever, and if I go down the street one way it will look completely different to me if I have to go back the other way".

You know, screw the library, I'm going to ask on the Aspergia discussion board.... SOMEONE has the answer to what, exactly, that is.
