But I feel almost sorry for the Phelps'. It can't be easy going through life without an original thought in your head. And all that hatred! Can you imagine what their schedules must look like?

6:30 Wake up, pray to God to thank him for not killing me
6:45 Shower
7:00 Eat breakfast, pray to God to thank him for feeding me
7:30 Hate gay people
9:00 Pray to God to kill gay people
9:15 Hate non-Christians
10:00 Read the Bible, but not the stuff about loving others
11:00 Read the Bible, but not the stuff about keeping kosher
12:00 Lunch, pray to God to thank him for feeding me, ask him to kill people he (and I!) hate
12:30 Hate gay people....

And on and on and on. When is there time to do things like, say, garden, or work, or not be a fucking asshole?

I feel very sorry for all such miserable wretches. I feel sorry for Hitler. I feel sorry for O. J. Simpson. These are human beings whose irrationalities, whose insanities, were left unchecked. They destroyed themselves as well as others. This world does not have adequate protections against insanity and irrationality--for Society in general or for the irrational and insane. Both Society and the irrational need such protections.
