Aside from the charitable glow you get when you help people, that sort of thing.
Watching people start out, not knowing what they're doing, and then realizing that "Hey - this person isn't a newbie anymore - they've just answered a nice, reasonably complex request! COOOOOOL!"
And then it's all cool and happy and you're sitting there wondering why you didn't realize they weren't quite so new yet.
