If I play around with a style, can I go back to using this one without having to figure out all my settings again?

Date: 2005-04-23 07:18 pm (UTC)Longer answer: yes, but you may wish to save your settings to be sure they're 'safe', given that there were issues with user layers until recently. Making them into a theme layer is the handiest thing to do (http://www.livejournal.com/users/s2howto/25272.html for creating a theme layer. Copy your current user layer (other than the layerinfo section) into the theme layer. If you're already using a theme, copy its information into the layer as well, or edit it if it's your own.
(If you copy in both a user and theme layer's code, I'd suggest you copy in the user layer beneath the theme layer. Settings in the user layer take priority over settings in the theme layer, but when they're all in the one layer the last statement will have priority. This is babble, which you can either ignore or ask for more information about.)
