In 567 days.

That's... oh, let's see. An average of 7 posts, 35 comments posted and 36 comments received every day. Oh, and several support points daily, but I didn't start doing that until I'd been on LiveJournal a while.

*dies*

Hey, this raises an interesting question. I don't comment, like, ever. You know that! So where the frak are all these comments coming from? 20,066 comments posted? I don't think so!

I wish my posted and received were that close to each other. Off the top of my head, I know I've posted over 5,000 and received barely over 2,000.

The first number, Posted: X, represents the number of comments you have made in any journal (i.e. Community, Feed, Yours, or Someone Else's) with that username. The second number, Received: Y, represents the number of comments that have been made in your journal. Any comments that you post in your own journal add to both your Posted and Received counts.

So if you're active in other journals, the count will always be off.

Ya, I know that.

I know that it's community involvement that has put my numbers so far apart. But, it also has a little to do with some of my friends being notorious non-commenters.

I think I only had 50 entries by August 1, 2004. And this doesn't come close to counting all the entries I've posted in various communities across the livejournal-verse.

Well, according to my stored comment emails, you've made 119 comments in my journal since 8/26/04. You have 239 mutual friends and 127 communities. Doing the math, that comes out to about 28441 comments if you made the same number on each of your friends' journals as you have on mine and never commented in a community at all.

You comment a lot more than you realize, I think. :)
