The only new info is this:
"The jury was told the teenager's form of autism meant he had a preoccupation with a "specialist interest" which Mr Addison said was computers. " (Addison is the prosecutor here.)
Okay, that could very well be true, it's certainly not unheard of. And it's part of the diagnostic criteria for AS, of course. But I feel a compelling need to point out that an obsession with computers does not lead one to become a malicious hacker. Actually, the only point of THAT bit of information is to explain how he learned enough to do all he did, it certainly does nothing to explain WHY he did it.
