So, I'm sitting here eating my pasta*
Dec. 7th, 2003 09:11 pmand I reach over and just eat some sans fork. Now, in case you don't know this, I do that all the time. Not in public, generally, but by myself all the time, and often among my family. I really don't like using silverware. It seems awkward mihi, and uncomfortable, and I always drop something. I will quite happily eat, say, Jello (until I found out how they make gelatin, ugh) or soup (drink the liquid, pick out the solids) or cereal (see soup) with my hands. Best meal out I ever had was at an Ethopian restaurant, no silverware. Anyway, while I was eating, it occured to me... am I the only one who does this? If not, why do we force ourselves to use silverware?
