When so-called "Christians" like this one wonder why so many people hate them, this could provide Exhibit A.

Some people just don't realize when they are screaming at their own shadows.

What's bad, of course, is that then the sillies come to represent all Christians, when most of them are perfectly nice, intelligent, reasonable people. Who don't think that "this is a badly written book" is the same as "christians suck, yeah!".

It's a review - that means it's one person's opinion about the book. Reviews aren't right or wrong. They can only be wrong if they actively state things that aren't true like: The book spends a lot of time on a character named Sarah who talks about flowers. If there is no Sarah in the book. Okay, then it's wrong. But saying you think it's written poorly and is a bad book can't be wrong.

Of course, I preach to the choir. But I like the choir. Sometimes they sing to me.

I am absolutely astonished that someone who works for a publishing company could behave that immaturely. I mean, sure we're all human, but you really do expect a professional to behave better than that.

That just makes me sad. The publisher's last reply really gets me, though. How ridiculous is that.

Well. Bad publicity is still publicity, right? Madame Publisher has just ensured that I will never buy anything through their company. How's that for publicity?
