Which wasn't resolved by trying to declare the new parliament legitimate.

Most recently, the ousted president has officially stepped down.

Scary. My cousin was supposed to go there in May for the Air Force, but then he got discharged. I didn't hear anything about this until now.

I've been paying vague attention to the CNN articles, since we *think* my grandfather's family may have been from there (we know he's from somewhere in the soon-to-be USSR, his last name is Kergis, and the family looked vaguely like people in that region), but they've been continually pushed down by Terri and then by the pope.

It's been all over the news here in Hungary as well. Alas, we're a bit closer to Kyrgyzystan... (how's that spelled in English?) though not that close as to Ukraine LOL. Or maybe it was because people just weren't interested in Schiavo.
