I just couldn't wait for the next episode of BSG to actually air. Fortunately, a friend of mine took pity on me and sent me a copy of the episode (which I'll watch when it does air, so it's not like they're losing ad revenue or anything).

Oh my god. This was so worth it.

I mean, I already knew a lot of what was going to happen because I'd cheated and read spoilers from Merry Olde England, but... wow. It still took me by surprise when *spoiler* *spoiler* *spoiler* at the end, even though I *knew* that *spoiler* would do that.

To explain how good this was, let me just say that I woke my mother up to tell her.

For the Philistines in the audience, what's BSG? A TV show, I assume, but which one?

The new Battlestar Galactica. I love it so.

If you loved the old one, you might not like this one.

Basically, Starbuck and Boomer are girls, Boomer's also a cylon, there are several new (I think) characters, and there's a lot more moral complexity going on, without as much (apparently) blatant Mormonism.

Many people prefer the old one. Such is life.
