Sovereign
You are a Sovereign-class Explorer, Starfleet's
biggest, badest, playboy posterchild. You
exceed everyone's expectations in every
department. You're the best, and you know it.

Which Class of Federation Starship are you?

Sovereign-Class also so... ugly. OK, maybe that's a harsh word, but I never went for the ultra-long-and-pointy æsthetic. Though admittedly, the Enterprise-E does have a nicer silver screen presence than the Enterprise-D, which IMHO is a nicer ship, if not as pointy.

I've always liked the Defiant. Small, compact, streamlined. My favorite Enterprise would have to be the Movie-Refitted Original, which also looks like the Enterprise-A. So that counts too. :)

Incidentally, I'm an Intrepid-class. Ugh. Though I guess the folding-nacelle thingy is kind of cool.

If you want it so much, you can have mine. If that works... I'd rather be Defiant or Miranda, given the choices they have...

[in case you can't tell, I like being small. though admittedly Intrepid is pretty small too.]

The Enterprise-D has a standard complement of 1000+ officers, crew, and passengers. That's not exactly what I'd call small. (Contrast with say, the Enterprise NX-01 which is run by fewer than 100)

And the Sovereign-class Enterprise-E is quite the bigger, believe it or not. Maybe longer is a better word, since it has fewer decks, but you get the idea... :)

Oh my, I can't believe I didn't notice that icon! :)

I am a bit, as they say, slow. :)

And I also need to stop procrastinating! (If you can't tell, I'm new to this whole livejournal thing.)

Yes, Rob is my roommate. One of them at least. We used to post anonymously to [livejournal.com profile] bikepirates but then they stopped allowing anonymous posts. So we got [livejournal.com profile] blingblingvegan to invite us, and decided to share the account since (supposedly) we would only use it to post to [livejournal.com profile] bikepirates. So much for that. (I think Rob has only one post in there, and he identifies himself as well.)

As for the last post, I don't think anybody reading it knows the particulars or has useful advice, since the only people I had told before that don't have livejournal accounts, as far as I know. I was looking more to bitch than for actual advice. :)

My guess is no, especially if you were around for but the first couple of years, as I was severely anti-social at the time. There's a photograph of me on my profile (http://www.becauseyes.com/info/profiles/?profile=danik) from my real diary, but I doubt it'll help. It was taken my Junior year of High School, so I looked mostly like that then, and exactly like that now. But I doubt you'd know me from it... :)

I don't think I knew a Connie or a Baker in Stuy. Let alone a Connie Baker. And Daniel is such a common name that it's no surprise you knew at least one during your time there. :)
