Weird problem...
Mar. 13th, 2005 12:44 amMy internet connection keeps spazzing on me.
1. Using the ethernet cable instead of the USB cord? Does nothing. I get a little green light where it connects to the laptop, but no connection seems to be acknowledged by the modem.
2. Disconnecting the USB cord and reconnecting it? Nothing.
3. Unplugging, replugging-in the modem? Nothing.
The only thing that restores my internet is restarting my computer... a troubling sign, to be sure.
Of my blinking modem lights, the power and cable lights stay steady, as does the one that indicates the modem is hooked up to a computer. However, the light that is supposed to blink to indicate a data transmission doesn't, or only blinks very sporadically.
Any thoughts?
Edit: There's also nothing running that shouldn't be, so I doubt it's a virus or anything like that.
