Newsflash:

Ana is officially a lot more fun when she's awake and happy than when she's asleep and miserable.

She's also more fun when she's smart enough to have her bear say "hi" and blow kisses at people.

And it's amazing when she's smart enough to coin new sentences all the time, like "blow nose", "read book", "you hiding", "snow/food cold", and "catch bear". I didn't even know she knew what "catch" meant.

But the person who taught her to yell "Boo!" will be drawn and quartered and hung (hung because they're dead) somewhere public. This time, it wasn't me.

Edit: Oh, I forgot! If my mom is speaking French to Ana, and asks her a question, Ana will say oui instead of yeah. She's bilingual! (Kinda)

Edit again: I also forget, she now can make all the animal noises I make from "Brown Bear" without prompting. I turn to the page with Red Bird and she tweets. I turn to the page with Purple Cat and she goes meow. Too cute, too cute, too cute.

*dies laughing* My sister taught Olivia to say "bum." It was quite accidental. Now she'll say "dirty bum" when she's having a poopy diaper changed.

Well, Ana says boo, and will get quite upset if I don't play along and pretend to be scared. That part, I think, is my fault.

i remember trying to teach my little cousin some words in French. i forget what happened, but i said "that's so weird" - and she just picked up on the word 'weird' and wouldn't let go.

weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeird. you're weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeird. and then got her baby brother going "weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeird"

painful dinner... :-P

didn't pick up any French, but i succesfully added 'weird' to her lexicon...
