See, this is why I like you. You're never (well, seldom) an ass just for the sake of being an ass, and you admit it when you realize you're being dumb. :)

I do try, I do try. I'm going to have to shut off the circ thread soon, though, because if I keep it up, I *will* piss somebody off, and I don't want to do that. Neither of us is convincing the other, and we're both, I think, starting to retreat to patterned responses.

And yeah. I actually don't think you're being particularly snotty in that thread, just confrontational. But cutting it short -- sorry -- before it escalates is probably a good idea.

Definitely. I get so emotional about it (I have some weird interests, don't I?) that I forget other people who feel differently get emotional about it too, even when I can logically work out why they get emotional about it. And then it all falls apart.
