So, I just watched Stargate: Atlantis.

Apparently, everybody in the galaxy knows that the Wraith are awakening, and temporarily peaceful places are taking in refugees.

Maybe I'm missing something, but wouldn't it make more sense to pack up everything and return to the place the Wraith just decimated, rebuild from there? I mean, they're not likely to head back to the old place, at least not right away, right? And you could check at your regular homeworld at intervals, see if they've arrived yet. Once they do, and leave, go home. It could take them years to figure out this scam!

i thought exactly the same thing. i wonder if the wraith don't leave like a token garrison force or maybe a few ships or sats in orbit to watch over the worlds. i am interested in atlantis, but i was a bit disappointed with it at first, as i thought it was awkward to just instantly start out with a huge enemy and a huge storyline, but it has grown on me. i guess at first i wanted there to be some more character development and more exploration and them getting fragments of the enemy for the first season. it has worked out well enough that i am not exactly complaining, i guess its just my druthers.
