Ana and I went to the Children's Museum for a "Tot Block" thing. That was fun, Ana enjoyed it right up to the end, where they all did these group things, and Ana wasn't sure if she wanted to participate or not (or, indeed, what they were doing). Also, she was tired (she fell asleep before the bus even came, which took a surprisingly short time). She eventually wandered off, absconding with a soft block. I returned it after most of the kids left, and retrieved my book. I'm sure she'll enjoy it more when she's more used to it.

And the parents... some of them, Ana would go near a toy their kid was playing with, and then if she took it, start saying she "snatched" it (despite the fact that all the kids are under three, the kid in question isn't upset, and the toy wasn't even being played with at that moment, it was on the ground or somesuch). Others, anticipating this reaction, would get upset with their kids if the kids took a toy Ana had been playing with but started to consider leaving. "Don't you want to share, Lily?" No, sir, Lily doesn't want to share. Neither, to be fair, does Ana. They think the whole "sharing" concept is overrated. But thanks for getting her to give back that block, Ana is intent on hoarding up every toy in the area.

Reminds me of a kid who swiped a Spidey from his stroller as he passed by my flea market table. I only noticed when the family came back around.

Goodnes, the parents completely missed that their kid had a huge red and blue thing that he didn't have before.

Guess he was lucky I wasn't selling knives. (Some booths do)
