[Poll #444931]
Edit: Once again, the Museum of Menstruation comes through for us, this time listing terms for menstruation.
I plan to use at least one a month on this journal until I get bored. These terms may or may not coincide with my actual period.

Date: 2005-02-26 04:37 pm (UTC)Fair enough, my contribution to the general gross-out pool: My sister has actually bled on me during her period. Add one for "Do you use...Something else" to the poll. Older brothers should not be used as a substitute for sanitary pads. >_

Date: 2005-02-26 04:47 pm (UTC)Ah, well, 'spose I can't complain too much. At least I don't have to put up with it. Well, except when my sister tells me in great detail about it. Oh, she can be evil.

Date: 2005-02-26 05:24 pm (UTC)Scented ones are so gross. and alleric-y. and bad smelling. As someone else on childfree said, 'Fake flower smell plus blood is bad.'

Date: 2005-02-26 05:59 pm (UTC)I don't often use disposable pads for a similar reason. Where I live we often have ant problems in the summer, and this summer, I threw a pad away. When I came back to empty my bladder a few hours later, there was a trail of ants carrying away the bounty of my uterus.
I was really annoyed, seeing as *I* couldn't use the blood, but some horrible parasitic pests could.
