It's sad. These could be good people if they had been raised with information rather than ignorance. At least, they might have been. And then they raise kids in these beliefs... just sad.
The lyrics were the 'best' part. Yeah, while your ancestors in Europe were living in mud huts, the Aztecs and Mayans had their temples and empires, the Chinese were building an empire that lasted until this century (and building palaces as well), the Indians were building huge stone statues, and over in Africa we've got some of the largest cave "paintings" in the world. Oh, and churches built deep into the ground, an architectural marvel if I ever saw one.
The entire thing bothered me, but I'm trying to find a bright side. That happens to be "wow, these lyrics are stupid". Not much of a bright side, but the best I could do.
Yeah, I know. But I expected most of it... that just hit me more than most of it. But I shouldn't expect to like the opinions of people who would prefer I be dead.
