I'm not entirely sure that the service was as bad as he says (though the comment at the end was out of line), but that's not the point. I could be wrong here, I often am. The point is that this guy has a crazy idea that if you don't like your job, you can just leave and get a better one. If your boss isn't paying you adaquately, you can just call in the authorities and everything will be all right, because there's this law.

I'm not sure if I'm laughing or crying here, but whatever I'm doing, at least I'm doing it in the real world.

I really hope this later comment (http://www.livejournal.com/community/bad_service/228239.html?thread=2428047#t2428047) is sarcastic...

Intelligence is good and all, but you need dumb luck too.

The only reason I have ever left a job of my own volition was because I was moving to another state. Hmmm, that may not be 100% true, but it's pretty close. I didn't renew substitute teaching one year because I had a different job, but I renewed with them the year after, and then continued until I moved. And it's definitely true of all my other jobs. Either the job ended naturally, I was fired, or I moved. Jobs aren't plentiful.

I just had to go look at the guy's journal... I think he's still in HS. So, naturally, he hasn't *had* to go to college yet.
