I mean old. I'm especially amused by this one, which gives instructions for bathing. Notice that you spend more time toweling off than cleaning yourself.

The collection is here.

Edit: This poster has a sweet foray into gender-neutral language. A child called it indeed.

Edit again: And one on masturbation, which we find is selfish, childish, and stupid, even though even they admit it can't really hurt you. Probably.

Edit the third: Here's one on chance acquaintances. Whether or not it's necessary to "indulge the sex desire", I know some people on my friends list who would like more chances to do just that....

'nother edit: This one is still very relevant, of course.

I can see people wanting to alter their spelling to assign themselves the air of sophistication or other, but only in private forms of written expression. Here we have a weapon of mass information bound by state rules. Moreover, those posters are not from the 1900. Mostly they are from 1930s to 1940, and a few from the 50's. By that time the spelling reform, initiated in 1864 (http://www.barnsdle.demon.co.uk/spell/histsp.html), was already firmly in place.
Canada uses chiefly British spelling, with the exception of, I think, forms like 'program' and 'catalog'. Not to mention the Antipodean colonies.
