Star Wars may be about freedom, but waiting by yourself for 22 weeks to buy tickets? That's not freedom. That's enslavement to Lucas. Sad.

It's especially stupid considering that if you really want tickets to the first showing of any movie, you'd really just have to ask when they start selling them and show up that day as soon as they open. Nobody else is ever a big enough fan to wait any longer than that, because they have jobs and a life to get back to, and this is taking into consideration it's Star Wars. And please note, I say this as someone who showed up at the theater the first day they were selling tickets for X2 and bought two tickets, one for the first showing, and one for the showing immediately following in the same theater, so that I wouldn't have to leave my seat. Obsessed? Nah! ;)
