No, I'm not kidding. Do you have a DVD player, EofS, (and what does that mean again, your name)? If so, I'll buy you a DVD and send it to you. You *need* to see this movie.

It's just as well. If she hadn't said that, I wouldn't've been reading the script right now. I can hear the actors as I read. I don't know why I bother, I very nearly have the whole thing memorized anyway.

Good movie, that.

Edit: Oh god, there's more of you? Well, you're just going to have to share the DVD, I can't afford that many. I'll lend it to E first, who'll send it to innerbrat, who'll sent it to oloriel, who will (hopefully) return it to me so I can watch the Princess Bride. Not that I need the DVD, it's on cable at least once a month.

I have the soundtrack, and whenever I listen to it I can see exactly what's going on. That's obsession, I think.

You have read the book, too, right? Please say you have! I think I've read it 3 times. There's even this part where William Goldman says he wrote a scene that S. Morgenstern left out and if you write to the publisher you'll get a copy of it. So I did that and I got a letter about a lawsuit cuz Morgenstern's estate was suing Goldman or something... I was about 10 years old at the time, and I really didn't know whether or not to believe that S. Morgenstern REALLY wrote the book or not. *sigh*

Oh yes, I know! I've been dying for someone to get me the special edition with the first chapter of Buttercup's Baby in it (because I want a shiny new hardback copy but can't justify spending that kind of money on a book for myself).

I have a copy of that in paperback, so I can assure you that it exists.

Come to think of it, I bought mine used.

If you ever did send that address, I didn't get it. Try again? LiveJournal seems to be better now.

Oh, I know. I've seen it. But for some reason, I want the harback. And I want it new. ?

This is the only book I would ever want in hardback. And I don't know why. :(

The heart has its reasons which reason does not know.
