No, I'm not kidding. Do you have a DVD player, EofS, (and what does that mean again, your name)? If so, I'll buy you a DVD and send it to you. You *need* to see this movie.

It's just as well. If she hadn't said that, I wouldn't've been reading the script right now. I can hear the actors as I read. I don't know why I bother, I very nearly have the whole thing memorized anyway.

Good movie, that.

Edit: Oh god, there's more of you? Well, you're just going to have to share the DVD, I can't afford that many. I'll lend it to E first, who'll send it to innerbrat, who'll sent it to oloriel, who will (hopefully) return it to me so I can watch the Princess Bride. Not that I need the DVD, it's on cable at least once a month.

I can't tell you what EoS means ;0) But EofS means Emma of Saunders. Ie my firstname of my surname. I'm the youngest in my family, so the obvious borg designation is borrrrring - 4 of 4. So instead I went for initials. It used to be E of S, but somewhere along the line (about 5 and a half years ago) I forgot the spaces. It's only recently I even discovered I used to use them.

As for The Princess Bride... I have a good friend in the US who has promised to show it to me when I visit her (she was similarly appalled that I hadn't seen it) but unfortunately I don't forsee that being anytime in the next four years. It seems to me that it has a huge following in the US, but hasn't impacted in Europe

I oughta get myself a rental membership (although I won't live practically next to a Blockbusters as I did last year, bah) but I'm trying to cut back on leisure spending this year. Hmm.
